Janusz Korwin-Mikke warns: Blockchain may be broken!

In a recent speech, Janusz Korwin-Mikke shared his thoughts on cryptocurrencies and the potential threat to them posed by the development of artificial intelligence. His statements sparked a wide discussion in the crypto community. Can AI really threaten the existence of Bitcoin?

🌍 Regulation, cryptocurrencies and the global marketplace

Korwin-Mikke referred to the increasing interference of states and international organizations in the cryptocurrency market. He mentioned EU regulations, including the MiCA regulation, which aims to unify rules for digital assets.

"It's always the case that men come in first and then women get involved - it's the same with cryptocurrencies and regulation. Governments are beginning to understand that they can't stop it, but they can try to control it."

He stressed that regulation often misses the mark, and that real defense mechanisms are created outside the control of governments. In his view, centrally controlled financial systems are doomed to failure.

🔒 Blockchain - not so unbreakable?

However, the most troubling topic the politician raised was the issue of artificial intelligence and its possible impact on blockchain. He suggested that the growing computing power of AI could lead to a situation where Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will not be safe.

"Thanks to computers, we already know the millionth expansion of prime numbers. Artificial intelligence is doing it even faster! Who says it won't find ways to crack the Bitcoin code?"

The politician warns that AI could decipher the cryptographic security features that underpin blockchain technology. If this happens, the entire financial system based on cryptocurrencies could face a huge crisis.

🧠 "Hold on to your wallets!"

At the end of his speech, Korwin-Mikke stressed that states will always try to control cryptocurrencies, but innovative technologies can overtake their actions.

"States will see that something works beyond their control - so sooner or later they will do the same, but even more efficiently and even worse for the people. Therefore, hold on to your wallets full of cryptocurrencies!"

Are Janusz Korwin-Mikke's concerns justified? Can artificial intelligence really threaten Bitcoin's future? The crypto community is divided - some are rallying for the end of blockchain, while others claim that the system is evolving and will become immune to AI. One thing is certain - interesting times are coming!
